Welcome Again Qufu Shaolin Kung Fu School
The school looked exactly, how I remembered. It felt weird, like deja vu. On the way up to Daniel’s room, we met Jacob – an old student. Immediately after, Kevin appeared – my “brother” from the last year, a member of the Master Du group. Then, came Stefan, who I remembered from autumn two years ago. The new students appeared as well. They started to introduce themselves. More old students came. We talked about the school gossips.
What Have Changed
- Master Du (Shaolin Master) was not anymore at school 🙁
- Also Master Miao (Tai Chi Master) left the school.
- There were 2 new Masters: Wing Chun Master and Tai Chi Master. I heard different opinions about them, but all were very positive. I was curious.
Daniel’s room was a big mess. We spend the next few hours trying to organize ourselves. In the end, we went to sleep around 3 a.m. In the “morning,” Daniel hugged me and asked to guess what time it was. I said 1 p.m. He estimated 11 a.m. It was 4 p.m.!!! Again, we were unpacking and cleaning the room.
On Monday morning, I picked up the bread from the boy, who always arrives in a small car and sells food to the kitchen ladies. After, I went to see Tai Chi class. The new Master movement looked impressive. I wasn’t training because I decided to start my practice on Wednesday to rest and organize everything.
I felt happy to be again at Qufu school. I was motivated. Also, a bit scared about how my body will adapt to the intense training.
